Belly Book Questions
Where and when I took the home pregnancy test: I don’t remember the date that I took it. I think it was sometime in early March. I took the test at home.
First reaction when I found out it was positive: I was really happy. I kind of knew it was going to be positive because I’ve been pregnant so many times, and I always know because I feel little cramps that I normally don’t feel, and I start waking up earlier.
How I told my hubby/partner: I told my husband when he got home from work. I showed him the pregnancy test and told him right away.
Who we told right away and their reactions: We waited a really long time tell anyone this time. We waited until 9 and a half weeks to tell our parents. We surprised them with M&M cookies that said, “Baby Carter” “November 2018” on them. We told them late at night. My dad tried to eat one of the cookies without looking at what it said, and Andrew’s parents left them in the kitchen on the table, and did not look at them until Andrew told them to go try one of them. We also surprised my sister and her husband and one of my friends with the cookies as well. Everyone we told was really happy and excited!
This is our: first child
How our kids reacted: We don’t have any kids yet.
